Amira is working with Owen Kelly, the EFI International Co-ordinator on developing an international strategy for EFI. She supports EFI Internationalisation efforts by mapping existing networks and partnerships as well as engaging with different teams and people at EFI to gather ideas and diverse perspectives on the potential international plan.
Amira is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She graduated with a degree in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh before moving to Seoul, South Korea to study for a Master’s degree in International Business at Ewha Womans University. She also holds an MSc in Gender Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She previously worked as a researcher, teaching assistant, and MBA programme manager at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as a consultant for UN agencies, working on gender data and survey reporting.
